The image on the left is the original photo, and the image on the right is the edited version. The highlighted areas on the original photo indicates the main areas which I edited. First of all I removed the shadow from the wall going down the left hand side of the image. I did this by using the clone stamp tool and remaking the wall across the section of the image. Another part of the image I edited was the loose hairs around her body as well as on her forehead, using the clone stamp tool again. I removed any blemishes or shadows that were on her face by either using the patch tool or spot healing brush. Finally, I brightened the whole image so that she stood out more and had more of an impact.

FEEDBACK
After receiving feedback for my front cover, some of the feedback which I received was to add musicality to the image as well as add more page furniture. As a result of this, I decided to take more images in the hope that I would get new pictures that are better suited to my critera.

Another part of the image I edited was the loose hairs around her body as well as on her forehead, using the rubber tool. I removed any blemishes or shadows that were on her face by either using the patch tool or spot healing brush. Finally, I brightened the whole image so that she stood out more and had more of an impact.

Page Furniture
When doing research into other music magazines to find different types of page furniture used, the same design came up several times. The design was just the outline of a circle, very simple yet also comes across very effective as it has been used on multiple music magazine front covers of a popular company, 'Billboard'. Therefore I tried to incorporate the same idea into my design, and inside the magazine, name some of the artists featured inside, similarly to how it has been done on billboard magazines. I think this makes my design look professional as well as attractive.
